Ombra + TsquareAI: AI scene generator for sunrooms
An AI scene generator that Ombra’s sales, design and marketing teams use to put sunrooms and outdoor structures into real spaces in minutes.
We built an AI scene generation system for Ombra, a manufacturer of sunrooms, pergolas and outdoor living products. Ombra’s own teams use it: sales staff to show a structure on the customer’s site during the visit, designers to produce design images fast, and marketing to create campaign imagery from Ombra’s own products.
Challenge
A sunroom is a large, made-to-order structure, and every proposal needs an image of it on the customer’s site: at the right size and position, with the furniture inside and the flooring and glass looking the way they really do. Ombra’s designers were building those images by hand from site photos, which took days, so proposals waited and deals cooled. Marketing needed a steady flow of scenes for campaigns, catalogues and social media, each one composited the same slow way.
Solution
On site, with the sales team. Sales staff photograph the site on a phone or tablet, choose a structure, a scene and a style, and show the customer a design during the visit. Change the product, step back, generate again: the customer shapes it there and then.
A head start for designers. Designers start from an AI design that is already most of the way there, instead of compositing from scratch, and refine it into the final proposal.
Marketing images on demand. The marketing team generates scenes of Ombra’s structures and furniture in new settings and styles for campaigns, catalogues and social media, without a photo shoot.
Only what Ombra supplies. The system uses Ombra’s own products and combinations, so the structure, furniture and finishes shown are ones they can actually supply.
