Help your trade and retail customers plan, quote and order across every brand you sell.

In practice: we build and operate No.1 DesignHub for No.1 Roofing & Building Supplies, where customers design with the merchant’s range and send a quote request. For merchants, the same applications are configured with the brands you stock and the way your branches quote. Read the case

A merchant sells the project, not the product

Builders and homeowners arrive with a plan, a sketch or a list. Many brands and categories have to come together into one quote, one order and one delivery.

Where the work gets stuck

Trade customers. Builders and installers often know the product already. They send orders and plans as PDFs, emails, photos of hand sketches and text messages, and need quantities, lengths, accessories and delivery resolved quickly.

Architects and specifiers. A project specification has to be matched to products you can supply, with the technical requirements kept visible through selection and purchasing.

Estimating desk. Estimators turn drawings into quantities and quotes by hand, often for jobs that are never won. The work may take hours; the queue takes days. Some items, such as flashings, have to be calculated before they can be priced.

Counter and branch staff. Orders are read, interpreted, coded and keyed into the business system by hand. Stock checks, transfers, pick-up and site delivery add more decisions, and the right path often depends on experience.

Retail customers. Homeowners need help with unfamiliar materials, choosing between brands and knowing which questions to ask before they buy.

Your business. Every manual step between the enquiry and the order takes time, and much of the know-how sits with a few experienced people.

From enquiry to delivery

From enquiry to delivery: enquiry, visualise, plan, estimate, quote, order, fulfil, deliver. Visualiser covers visualise, Planner covers plan and Quantities covers estimate to order.

Trade orders arrive in every format. Reading, coding and keying them is repetitive work that takes experienced people away from customers.

Questions teams ask

Can it read orders from emails, photos and sketches?
It can be set up for the order formats you receive, reading emails, PDFs, sketch photos and text messages into draft order lines matched to your product codes. Incomplete or conflicting dimensions are flagged, not guessed, and your team approves every order before it enters your business system.
Do we have to replace our business system?
No. Product codes, pricing and fulfilment rules come from your business, and your existing systems stay in place.
Can it price from our price files?
Once your price files are connected, quantities from plans can be priced and prepared as a quote draft in your format, for your team to confirm.
Who decides which branch supplies the order?
Your staff. Suggestions for branch supply, direct-to-site delivery or a transfer follow the rules your team sets, and corrections feed back into those rules.
Can retail and DIY customers use it?
Yes. They can try products on a photo of their own home and get indicative quantities for a simple project. Sending the list to a branch or an online order is set up for your business.
